Day 12: Peace of God

“Father God, I thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). I pray that your peace would rule my heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Colossians 3:15). I give my worries, fears and anxieties to you, Lord. I cast my cares upon you (1 Peter 5:7). Teach me to not pick them back up again, but to release them into your hands over and over again. Show me how to live and operate out of your peace. I pray that my home would be filled with the peace of God, and that everyone who enters it would feel the tangible peace and presence of your Spirit. I pray that those I come into contact with would see your peace written all of over me and would want that same peace in their lives. Give me the words to say when I’m asked for the reason of how I remain so at peace in a world that’s ridden with evil and in the midst of the darkest times in my life. I pray that your peace would exude from my very being and be a witness to your glory, pointing others to you. I love you, Father. I’m Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
