Day 4: Direction and God's Perfect Will

“Father God, thank you for your Word that lights my way. I commit my way to you and ask you to order my steps. Go before me and prepare the way for me to bring me to the place to which you have called me (Exodus 23:20). I pray that I would remain in your perfect will for my life, and that I would bring glory and honor to you in all I say and do. Father, I pray that when I take a step outside of your perfect will, that you bring me back to the fold. Cover me and don’t let my foot slip (Psalms 121:3). I choose to trust in you and in the direction you lead me. Forgive me for my disbelief at times. You alone, Lord, are my refuge, strength and Shepherd. Lead me in your ways. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
